Photography is something that I fell in love with almost 20 years ago while studying design
at the Alberta College of Art + Design in Calgary. By my second year I was well and truly
engrossed in the art of photography I changed majors. Photography to me is more than just pictures made with cameras and film. It’s a medium that I love to create images with.
For me the clicking of the shutter is only the beginning of the image making process. I have
a passion for BxW printing as well as alternative print processes, all the while I keep up wtih
todays technologies and have fully embraced digital photography and all it has to offer.

One of the first questions I am generally asked once people discover
I am a photographer is… What do you photograph - families, weddings? My general response
is yes, but if you were to classify subject matter I would have to say, I photograph ‘People’
whether it’s the CEO of a major corporation, a day in the life editorial to the first moments of
life with a newborn. I love working with people and capturing the essence of life within each
of my subjects.

I feel blessed that my work overlaps my passions for life and creating art. I also have new art representation with Farmboy Fine Arts in Vancouver BC and stock representation with
’Brown Stock’ a canadian based stock agency.

I presently operate in the greater Ottawa and Gatineau regions where I continue my lifes
workto create art and raise my family.
